Definitely liking the new recipe I found for my candied/cracked out fruit, but I'm having major issues when it comes to reheating the mixture once it cools and starts to thicken because this new ratio tends to burn super fast and crystalizes the more you stir it...uuggghhh!

Did these grapes and attempted to do mango and pears...yea, that didn't work out as planned πŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬ will do the pineapple rings tonight and see what happens πŸ‘

For those of you who don't know what candied fruit are (most people call them cracked out grapes or cracked out fruit), it's fruit dipped in a candy mixture called tanghulu. Tanghulu has to be cooked to 300 degrees to reach what we call "hard crack stage." Once the candy reaches 300, you dip the fruit and then roll it around in toppings. You have to move super fast! The toppings I did for these are jolly ranchers, wild berry skittles, starburst fave reds, and chewy sweet tarts. I even wrapped a few of the grapes in fruit by the foot before dipping.

Making this is sooo time consuming because there are so many steps involved in getting everything prepped, but I really enjoy making them when I don't burn the tips of my fingers πŸ˜‚

Started making cheesecake stuffed waffle cones! I only have three flavors available right now but I have a few more in the works πŸ˜‰ I've got oreo cheesecake, peach cobbler and banana cream. I've sold out of the ones I had but if you're interested let me know and I can make them fresh for ya!

I've also been working on making candied fruit but with the high temps/humidity my candy just isn't coming out right ☹ I've done some more research and will try a different receipe ratio to see if that will work out better and try it with pineapple rings tonight!

The cones are $8 each or 2/$15.

Over our little "break" (mom's will understand πŸ˜‰), I've been working on putting together something for Valentine's Day, and errryyybody's favorite season in south Louisiana, Mardi Gras and crawfish!

While searching for ideas, I had an "ah ha" moment. I wanted to do something, something...different. I've always loved the old school porcelain Mardi Gras masks and that's when the ah-ha happened. So, here's my latest inspiration and what I've been working on tonight. I got two ladies down and two mo to go! I'm excited and nervous to show y'all! Stay tuned!

Hot Cocoa Bombs (HCB's) currently offered: milk/white chocolate, strawberry, strawberry cheesecake, peppermint/candy cane, Butterfinger, Heath, Reese's, Grinch, banana pudding, salted caramel, unicorn, cookies 'n cream, and Andes mint.

Cocoa flavors currently available: milk chocolate, white chocolate, peppermint, caramel, strawberry, and mint.

Hot Chocolate Bomb cups can be custom ordered. Colors currently available: dark green, light green, yellow, purple, royal blue, light/baby blue, hot pink, light pink, orange, chocolate, white chocolate. I can also make the shells of the cups specialty flavors as well.

***PLEASE NOTE***

For all of the HCB's and cups, I use almond bark and candy melts. Real chocolate can be used instead, but the prices per bomb will be higher.
