October 2011, My husband (Scott) and I (Denise) acquired a local pie business that has been in the Brainerd Lakes area for many many years. We renamed the business Mama B's Pies after our birth mothers that are both no-longer with us. We started producing pies at Boardwalk Bread n Bagel, Northwest Pizza for a short time, Moved to our other local business, Triangle Drive Inn & Treats on Mill Ave, i

n northeast Brainerd, MN, Then finally we found a year round location at Connie's Kitchen in South Brainerd. We are a family owned and operated business, that specializes in fundraising for any school athletic groups, clubs ect. We also work with church/youth groups.

Now that summer is sadly coming to a close and our children back to school. It's is time to think about sports and clubs and church organization starting up again. Mama B's pies specializes in fundraising. We are looking to go state wide this years and we can't do that without your help. So spread the word at your next PTA. PTO, parent meeting for whatever organization your family is apart of. We can send you info at your request.

Thank you to everyone that came out to Von Hanson meats in Baxter on Friday for another pie tasting. The guys over there are great. And there fresh baked buns and bread are amazing along with everything else.

Thank you everyone for coming out to reeds market in crosslake today. We ran out of samples but we have a few pies baked and a few frozen for you to bake.

We will be at Reeds Market in Crosslake, MN for Pies tasting, On fishing opener (May 9th) from 10-2. Come say Hi and sample the five pies we are baking up just for you!! And maybe bring one home for MOM or GRANDMA. Remember Sunday is Mothers Day!
