This girl requested a chocolate cheesecake for her birthday so of course we made it happen! Super rich dessert with an Oreo cookie crust, topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate whipped cream, and chocolate drizzled Oreos. Happy Birthday, Kedzie!

Made some Advent Calendars for the nieces and nephews this year. ❤️💚💙🤍

When we were little, my mom would make a construction paper chain with Bible verses that led up to Jesus’ birth. We would take a link off each evening (December 1-25) and read that verse when we had supper. Fast forward to grandkids and she would buy them advent calendars with chocolates inside for each day.

This year is different. My mom passed in July and I felt the tradition should continue, but with my twist. Each day has a packaged cookie with a coinciding Bible verse written on it, ensuring the reason for the season is in mind every day. I hope to continue this tradition in future years as it is one I feel lucky to have known myself.

Merry Christmas everyone!! However you celebrate, be sure to take time to remember and be thankful for the greatest gift of all!!
