Uncle Jeff's Sunday Table was modest today.

We enjoyed a simple noon meal of BBQ pork ribs, excessively cheesy Mac and Cheese, spicy Spinach, fresh sliced Pecos Cantaloupe, hot garlic bread and super surprising Jalapeño and Cheese Cornbread.
Sweet iced tea for the cool down and extra dark chocolate moose with raspberries for the finish.

Now let's have a rain storm while we lick our paws and comb our whiskers.

Lost Bread saved by spiced whipped cream and eggs. Then bathed in butter and all dressed up with sugar and stewed blueberries.

Tell me you like tatters without telling me you like tatters... Can't do it!

Uncle Jeff's Sunday Table was a simple and understated meal for the Bothers on Father's Day. My niece and Sister in Law sit with us and we talked so much I forgot to bring out the camera.

We had buttery Rosemary Chicken, Potatoes Au Gratin, English Peas, Deviled Eggs, Pickled Beets, Bacon wrapped Jalapeños, and Southern Sweet Tea!

Oh! And Pecan Tassies that I had to hide to keep my eldest brother from ruining his meal. 🤭

Today was a great day to debut Uncle Jeff's Sunday Table.

I enjoyed providing a made from scratch, family style, Sunday Meal with the boys of the family; my two brothers. It's not often you see all three of us together so today was extra special.

We had chicken fried chicken, loaded green beans, rosemary garlic potatoes, and failed fried okra. There were ridiculously tart pickled eggs as well as pickled carrots and fresh sweet onions. There was sweet cantaloupe and of course the Coconut Cloud Cake.
All washed down with home brewed sweet iced tea.

Maybe the next time you'll join in.
