🦌🦚 A couple of familiar faces stopped by the farm stand today!

The first photo features a couple curious deer checking things out, and the second includes Dr. P, who decided the top of the stand was the perfect place to supervise operations. 😊

Truth be told, I'd rather the birds not hang around the stand because of the busy road, but people are usually very good about slowing down when they see them. I guess "free range" means going wherever they please!

Between the deer, Dr. P, and the beautiful Montana backdrop, it's hard to beat a day at the farm stand.

Harriet's first day of freedom! 🦆💦

A lovely customer suggested the name Harriet, and I absolutely loved it.

Harriet is named after Harriet Tubman (1820–1913), the legendary abolitionist who led hundreds to freedom through the Underground Railroad. Harriet Tubman suffered a traumatic head injury in her youth that left her with permanent visual impairment and seizures, yet she still went on to lead Union military expeditions and become one of the most courageous women in American history.

Since our little Harriet is blind, the name felt especially fitting for a duck who faces challenges a little differently but doesn't let them slow her down.

Today Harriet and her friends got to leave the enclosure and enjoy the pond for the first time, and I'd say they're having an absolute blast! Watching them splash, swim, and explore made my whole day.

And before anyone asks... yes, at the very end, Kanye gives one of the little ducklings a quick nip on the butt. 😂 I promise no ducks were harmed in the making of this video. Just a little pond-side supervision from the boss.

Janet was OUT cold tonight 😂🦃

Caught our young turkey sound asleep in the coop with her little head hanging down like she worked a double shift on the farm today. Farm life is exhausting when you’re this cute. ❤️

And yes… if you can hear music playing in the background, I do in fact play music for my birds. I’m aware I’ve crossed into full farm crazy territory. 🤷‍♀️🎶🐓

These goofy birds keep us laughing every single day!
