Clarkston is hosting its Fall Farmers Market on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th, from noon to 4 p.m.!

Skinny Legs N’ Eggs will not have a booth there, but we will definitely be visiting and checking it out ourselves. The weekend will feature local goods, homemade treats, breads, jewelry, teas, honey, fresh finds, yard-sale items and more—plus pumpkins, hot apple c***r, a pumpkin carving and drawing contest, and a petting zoo with a pony and miniature goats!

🎃 An amazing new addition has arrived at Skinny Legs N’ Eggs—just in time for Halloween decorating! 🎃

Meet our handcrafted Forever Pumpkins, created from upcycled propane tanks by Iron Maiden Welding right here in Bozeman.

These are so much more than ordinary Halloween decorations! Each pumpkin has its own personality, and the craftsmanship is incredible—from the hand-cut faces to the detailed welded stems, curling vines and metal leaves. They’re sturdy, reusable and made to bring a little spooky character to your fall display year after year.

For an extra-special nighttime display, place battery-operated LED string lights or a flameless pumpkin light inside and watch the light glow through the face! ✨

🥖🧁 Would You Be Interested in a Weekly Bakery Pop-Up? 🍪

The Brioche-Sourdough cinnamon rolls in this photo and video were made by Chanda with Homestead on H**b. She brought them by this week, and they were absolutely remarkable! They also got me thinking about a new possibility for Skinny Legs N’ Eggs.

Montana law does not allow me to sell another person’s homemade baked goods through our self-serve stand. Cottage-food products need to be sold face-to-face by the person who makes them.

However, a local baker could come set up here once a week and sell their own properly labeled products directly to customers—almost like a tiny farmers market with one bakery booth!

I’m picturing things like:

🥖 Fresh sourdough bread
🍥 Cinnamon rolls
🍪 Homemade cookies
🧁 Other fresh-baked goodies

This would not be part of the self-serve stand. The baker would be here in person, selling and handling payment for their own products. I would simply provide the space.

I’m thinking it could possibly happen on a Thursday, Friday, or over the weekend, but I’m still in the very early planning stages and trying to decide whether this would be a good fit.

Would you stop by for a weekly bakery pop-up? Which day would work best, and what baked goods would you be most excited to see? Please share any thoughts or suggestions below—your feedback will help me decide whether to move forward!
