Troop 51 is proud to announce its newest Eagle Scout, Calvin Heres. Calvin has been always been an energetic force within the troop. Enroute to this monumental achievement, Calvin completed an eight day backpacking trip at the Philmont Scout Reservation. His Eagle Project involved installing picnic tables at Boxford’s town beach at Stiles Pond. Congratulations, Calvin!

After eight unforgettable days paddling through the pristine rivers and lakes surrounding Baxter State Park, Troop 51 is back from their Maine High Adventure trek! With only what could fit in their canoes, the crew embraced lightweight packing, teamwork, and the wild beauty of the backcountry.

From sunrise paddles to campfire camaraderie, these Scouts navigated challenges with grit and grace. Their teamwork was seamless, their spirits high, and their leadership inspiring.
We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible crew—what an adventure! 💪

This week, Troop 51 did its annual Summer Camp at Camp Yawgoog in RI. The scouts had a great time, enjoying a variety of activities.

Congratulations, Ryan! Troop 51’s latest Eagle Scout. You’ll see Ryan’s Eagle project at our sports fields. Ryan made several lost and found bins, and placed them in strategic locations throughout town. So, if you’re missing your Gatorade water bottles, or that hooded sweatshirt, you know where to look.

Christian McCann is Troop 51’s newest Eagle Scout. For his service project, Christian led a musical instrument drive to support the organization, Hungry for Music. The mission of Hungry for Music is to place quality musical instrument with children within under-served communities that demonstrate a desire to learn music. Thanks to generous donations, Christian’s efforts led to the donation of over 350 musical instruments valued at over $30,000. Congratulations, Christian!
