*Edit. You guys are beyond amazing. That was soooooo many so quickly, we are unfortunately sold out, please stay tuned for the future plans, I cannot release my final post yet….I need just a moment, i am humbled and speechless*. After we completed our shipping orders we baked everything we had left. We have a couple hundred on hand. We will be selling them first come first serve, no preorders no holds, 11:30am until 1:30pm today or until sold out. If you have time on your lunch break, stop by for one last bite! Sat (2/25) Thank you for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. We are over capacity with orders, we cannot accept anymore today. If you placed your order prior to today it will be filled. The shipping orders will be baked tomorrow and sent out Monday. There will not be any cookies available for walk in purchase. Thank you again for a wonderful 16 years🍪❤️

To my loyal customers and my devoted employees past and present,

On Friday September 8, 2006 during the Black Swamp Arts Festival, we opened the doors of The Cookie Jar for the first time. For 16 years we have provided our delicious cookies, cookie cakes and ice cream sandwiches to thousands of customers.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I am sadly announcing the closing of The Cookie Jar.

Since the onset of the 2020 pandemic, The Cookie Jar, like thousands of small businesses across the country, has suffered irreparable and continuous financial hardship.

The Cookie Jar has always made cookies with fresh cookie dough, never mass produced. However, the surging inflation has made it obvious The Cookie Jar cannot continue to make our made - from - scratch cookies at a competitive price.

Our last day of business will be: SATURDAY FEBRUARY 25, 2023

Our last day to receive any orders for shipping will be: THURSDAY FEBRUARY 23, 2023

We have a variety of Cookies of the Day baked and ready to go for those that would like some. It has brought me to tears thinking about what an important part of the community we have become.
