I'm having another "systemic nightshift"! 😄

This is the last module of year 1 of the systemic training I'm doing with the systemic institute Systemisches Institut Kassel back in my hometown in Germany.

That means:
- short nights
- big determination
- lots of learning, sharing, growing and experiencing 🌱
- and all the things you can't capture with words.

My group is ssooo awesome! Thank you so much for including me as the only remote team member. I can't wait for the 2nd year!

Supporting arts and crafts, especially weavers, from all angles! 😁💪📈

I'm glad to dive into the natural world and learn more and more about what you can use foraged plants for. It's manifold! So fun and inspiring!

Also, the other day I had the pleasure to support Basket Maker's Supply up by Louisville 💝 Taking nice pics for their broad and professional online shop. They literally supply everything you need for weaving! We had a great time, I'm so grateful! 😇

So ein toller Ort in Kassel 🤩 smart business

BEAT-PROJEKT 🎶 || Als wir die NEUE DENKEREI gegründet haben, haben wir uns fest vorgenommen, nicht nur nur unser eigenes Business voranzutreiben, sondern auch etwas zurückzugegeben und uns zu engagieren. Letztes Jahr haben wir voller Begeisterung das BEAT-Projekt vom innovativen Kasseler Bildungsträger I.GBS unterstützt.

Diese coole Initiative, gefördert von AKTION Mensch, bringt Jugendliche aus allen Ecken Kassels zusammen, um gemeinsam an ihrer Musik zu feilen. Vom Aufnehmen im Tonstudio über das Drehen von coolen Musikvideos bis zum ersten Bühnenauftritt – alles ist dort möglich! Und das Allerbeste? Das BEAT-Projekt ist komplett kostenfrei und ermöglicht so auch Jugendlichen aus finanziell schwierigen Verhältnissen, ihre Leidenschaft für Musik auszuleben und ihre Träume zu verwirklichen. 

Diese Initiative hat uns von Anfang an total begeistert und wir sind stolz darauf, dass wir sie unterstützen konnten!

I'm so looking forward to this! It's always spectacular to see what local talents from my hometown Kassel, Germany are capable of doing 🌟

The BEAT project allows young musically inclined talents to
📍write their own songs
📍learn about the music industry
📍create a cover design
📍record a song and ultimately
📍perform live on stage.

Maybe most importantly though, they get to connect with passionate youngsters from different districts, genres and levels. Working together with experienced artists is key, too 🔥 It's FREE, so everyone who's interested can participate.

For many of our BEATees, it's the first time ever being on stage.

It's hard to put in words what this means for young individuals, for their families and friends and for our city as a whole!

I hate that I can't be at the workshops, auditions and meetings in person for this impactful music project I have the pleasure to help manage, back in my hometown Kassel, Germany.

But I love to be a part of it behind the scenes! Plus, I'll be there for in January 2024 - can't wait to meet my team again and see Kassel's talents live on stage! 🤩

I was sick for a couple of days, which made me appreciate healthy times once again 💝🙏 What a gift to be able to use your body, think straight and be alive.

Luckily I felt better again just in time to attend this wonderful sourdough workshop from the incredible bakery Meg’s Bread at the in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley, TN!

A trip full of delicious cheese from the Sequatchie Cove Creamery, endless encouraging conversations, yummy sourdough from a woodfired oven as well as a kitchen oven, black garlic(!), getting to know artist and professor Sara Dismukes - and creating so many more nourishing memories.

What a lovely and inspiring place! And what a blessing to be able to spend time with my lovely and talented friends Reagan and Beth 🥰
