Hey Y’all! I'm Danielle, a passionate baker and proud owner of Bluegrass Bakes. 🍰 I’d like to take a minute to introduce myself!

I grew up with a passion for baking and a dream of owning my own business. You could always find me in the kitchen whipping up something sweet. Whether it was a cake, pie or cookie, I would always be trying a new flavor!

Throughout my young adult years, I decided to leave my passion for baking as an enjoyable side hustle while pursuing a degree in Human Resources

Fast forward a few years and I’ve stepped back from HR and created my baking brand, Bluegrass Bakes, in May 2022! Best decision of my life 🙌🏼

My mission is to spread joy through baking up beautiful and tasty sweets all while continuing to support local with the ingredients I choose to use.

When I'm not in the kitchen, you can find me playing board games with the fam, reading a book, giving love to my poodles, or traveling with my hubby .gonzo 😍
