This summer has looked a little different around Something Sweet.

I’ve been spending time experimenting in the kitchen, testing new recipes, and baking a few new treats.

As many of you know, this August I’ll be heading back to the classroom and I’m incredibly excited about it! Because of that, the bakery will be moving at a slower, more intentional pace this fall.

But don’t worry…Something Sweet isn’t going anywhere. In fact, I have some delicious new fall flavors that I can’t wait to share with you!

Keep an eye on this page over the next few weeks as I start introducing this season’s cookie lineup. I think you’re going to love what’s coming!

This summer, I’m trading order forms for recipe cards.💜

For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be in the kitchen creating naturally sweetened cookies for my granddaughter, Ava. My goal is to use simple ingredients like ripe bananas, applesauce, and honey to make treats that are delicious enough for the whole family.

Will they turn out? 🤷‍♀️ I honestly don’t know yet… but that’s part of the fun! I love learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to bake for the people I love.

I’ll be sharing both the successes and the “back to the drawing board” moments along the way. If you have a favorite naturally sweetened treat, I’d love to hear about it!
