La Casa de la Raza In August of 2011, 5 young men moved into a house in the notorious Martin Acres neighborhood of Boulder's south side.

Shortly thereafter, another young man moved in and La Casa de la Raza was officially founded. 9 people have lived within the confines of this historic home in Boulder at various times since the initial founding, and, in association with the Whole Wheat Wonder Bread House, has been known to throw "the baddest parties in all of Aztlan!-and Boulder"
