A little update from me 🀍

As the food industry begins transitioning away from certain artificial food dyes, I’ve started testing and working with more natural color alternatives in my icing.

Natural dyes behave very differently than artificial ones, which means you may notice softer, more muted tones, slight variations between batches, or colors that may fade a little faster over time. Certain shades can even slightly affect taste or texture depending on the ingredients used to create them.

This transition is something I’m taking very seriously because it directly impacts the work and quality I’ve spent years perfecting. I’m committed to finding the best possible alternatives while continuing to create beautiful, high-quality cookies for your special events.

During the remainder of this year, I will still be using some artificial dyes as I work through the inventory and supplies I already have on hand. My goal is to be fully transitioned to natural color alternatives by 2027.
