Hi everyone! We are islanders! Borrego Bread has a new home and will be an official commercial bakery! I am so excited but extremely nervous… We landed in Deer Isle, ME. We have settled in nicely and already met some neighbors, some of whom dropped off homemade jam! I think she heard i will be selling bread 😜.

I miss everyone and kind of the weather. It is STILL pretty cold here (it just snowed last Monday 😳)….but I AM loving! I hope you are all well.

That’s a wrap! Thank you Borrego for an amazing journey. You got this NE girl to LOVE the dessert with all its bugs (well maybe not the bugs) and quirks that came with it. Your friendships will be forever etched in my heart and I will truly miss our Friday chats. NE has welcomed us with a true nor’easter the first in 16 years. What a welcome back. Please stay in touch. Once we find a permanent home, if you ever in the NE area come by and say hi. ❤️

Thank you Borrego for an amazing journey and your long warm embrace over the last 5 years. You ALL sure know how to make a girl feel loved. If I ever decide to ship bread, you will be the first to know i have noticed since my departure, I see a few customers branching out into sourdough world Give’em a try…Maybe I started something 🤷‍♀️😜….

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve….

This is bittersweet and emotional for me….but this coming Friday is my very last market here in Borrego. We are moving back East.

I never in my wildest dreams, thought I would have the business I do, and be a part of such an amazing, loving and patient community in my life! You ALWAYS showed up for me. I say it all of the time….Fridays were/are the best day EVER for me because I got to see YOU. I have met some amazing people and dsome of whom have become close friends.

Please stay in touch…and bring tissues if you come by Friday….i will need them. Love each and everyone of you….❤️💔

So….i lost this entire batch! I will have just a couple of whites today…but everything else. At least I figured out whst I did wrong…BIG bummer! They would have been perfect otherwise….

I am at a loss for words this morning…for good reason. You ALL showed up yesterday! I sold out in what was pretty yucky weather. THANK YOU!!!! So many people were surprised to see me there In my mind, there was no choice, I had (wanted) to show up for as you did for me.

Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️…. No matter what the week throws at me, my Fridays always put a smile on my face.

A BIG shoutout to Simply Bread Oven peeps, in particular Ej….THANK YOU! I had the most glorious bake this morning now thet. I have my buddie/oven back. Ej walked me through fixing everything. If you are ever wondering if a SBO is worth it….just based on the CS alone…it is more than worth it. I live in the desert….hard to get to….i ALWAYS get my oven fixed….that is WHEN (which in 4 years thisnis the first time) and it was just an update….

Cranberry, Ginger and dried Apricot scones
Whole wheat, white and cheddar/jalapeño for bread
Granola, cookies, banana bed and coffee cake.
