Your Downeast clambake adventure begins with a narrated scenic tour of Boothbay Harbor aboard the Bennie Alice, en route to Cabbage Island nestled in Linekin Bay. Cabbage Island has been the home of traditional clambakes since 1956 and your hosts, the Moore Family, welcome you to experience and enjoy a succulent feast of a Downeast meal where your lobsters and clams are cooked in seaweed at waters

edge. This authentic meal includes a steaming cup of traditional New England fish chowder, two luscious bright red lobsters, tender white steamed clams wrapped in foil, sweet golden corn on the cob, onion, potatoe and a hard boiled egg.

Last week we hosted one of our favorite annual traditions - Family Bake!

Each year, we invite our employees to bring their families out to experience a clambake - with the Moore’s as their servers.

It’s our small way of saying thank you to the incredible crew who work so hard all summer to keep cabbage island running smoothly. We’re incredibly grateful to each and every one of you - and to your families who share you with us all summer!
