Situated on nearly seven acres in the beautiful foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, Awesome Country Farmhouse offers travelers a relaxing place to stop for fresh coffee, homemade food, handcrafted specialty products, and unique shopping before continuing their journey into the mountains.
Our business is located in a series of historic buildings that are more than 100 years old, including the original railroad freighthouse of Boonville and structures that once served the community as part of the historic GLF and Agway agricultural businesses. In earlier generations these buildings were a center of agricultural trade where supplies and farm goods arrived and departed by rail. Today they have been restored and transformed into a welcoming destination for visitors exploring the region.
Inside the farmhouse store, guests can browse shelves filled with handcrafted specialty foods and homemade jarred products, many created and packaged right here in Boonville in our inspected New York State Department of Agriculture & Markets facility.
Visitors will find a wide variety of homemade and specialty items including:
