Oh my! Carrot cake cupcakes with traditional vanilla buttercream frosting and triple chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream dipped in chocolate. These are amazing. I hope the birthday girl loves them!

I just got a lot of really cool molds and I'm anxious to use them. I got some new Lego molds, superhero, lace, baby, cowboy, just lots of really cool stuff. I'll be making a cake and a ton of cupcakes this weekend for the American Legion in Bonita so I will post pics soon!

Here's a great tip! You know how you cut into a cake and now there is some exposed? Cling wrap is a pain and sticks to the frosting, so what do you do? Take a slice of bread and secure it to the exposed cake with a toothpick. Your cake will stay super soft. 😀🎂🍰

This is an older pic, my son's first birthday. I don't know why I didn't take a picture of it right after I made it, but instead waited until we got to the beach and the buttercream could start to melt and the colors could run. Ugh. Lesson learned. But it's still one of my favorites. The look on his face when he saw it.
