π€β€οΈπ Happy Juneteenth! πβ€οΈπ€
Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the ongoing fight for justice. On this day in 1865, the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were informed of their liberationβmore than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
Letβs honor the strength and perseverance of those who fought for freedom and continue to fight for equality today. Together, we can create a future where everyone is truly free.
