One of our employees went to frost the pineapple coconut cakes and realized she had not yet cooked the pineapple filling. 😭😭 She's doing that now and will post when she's enroute to the school. Holiday Tip: Ummm hmmmmm. If you normally roast your pecans in the oven for your recipes, but have too much going on in the oven like your Cake Lady, the Air Fryer is it! Put your softened butter and pecans on 375. Sooo yummy!

WHEN TO ORDER YOUR CAKE:

As soon as you have a date, you want to place your order as Sweet Melodee’s books up fast!

COST:

Custom cake pricing depends on the number of people you want the cake to serve and the design and details involved. Prices start at $4 per serving.

Basic cupcakes are $24 per dozen. Custom dozens start at $36. A minimum one dozen is required to order.

PAYMENT POLICY:

Orders are booked by deposit only. First deposit, first booked. A $55 or 50% non-refundable deposit (whichever is greater) is required for all orders over $55.00. All orders under $55 are due in full at time of order. This deposit is non refundable but transferable to another date if I am notified within 21 calendar days of event date change or modifications. Final payment for all wedding cakes or orders greater than $200.00 is due 7 calendar days before the event. Your dessert will not be made if payment is not received.

CHANGES:

Changes within 21 calendar days of the order due date will incur a last minute change fee. Some changes may not be possible, but we will do all we can to modify as you wish.

CAKE PICK UP AND DELIVERY:

All orders will be available for pickup at the agreed upon time from Freeman’s Grill in Bolton. I highly recommend delivery of cakes that are two tiers or more. A delivery and set up fee will apply and varies, depending on location and size of cake.

If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Sweet Melodee’s possession.

If you choose to pickup your cake, you must have a level traveling space, that will be 75 degrees or less. The trunk or floorboard are best. It is NEVER advised to transport a cake in the seat of a vehicle as the incline can cause the cake to tip over or be otherwise damaged.

Cakes are food products which contain dairy. It is imperative to keep your cake in a cool, well ventilated space. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below. It is also recommended that the cake be served within 2-3 hours of delivery or pickup or kept refrigerated.

If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will arrange up to 25 stems free; $1 for each additional stem. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants .

On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

ALLERGIES:

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions or other medical conditions.

While Sweet Melodee’s desires 100% satisfaction from all clients, it is not guaranteed and any refund, credit or exchange is solely up to the discretion of the owner. All orders are contingent upon the ability of Sweet Melodee’s to complete the agreement and are subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, illness, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
