To our wonderful plant-loving community,
This is a message I never imagined having to write, but after much reflection, I have made the difficult decision to close the brick-and-mortar shop for A Succulent Day. Our last day of operations will be April 12, 2025.
This decision comes from a deep need to focus on my family, reconnect with the world beyond the shop’s walls, and explore plants in a new way—one that doesn’t require me to always be tending to a storefront. Owning a small business is an incredible journey, but it is also all-consuming, and it’s time for me to shift my energy toward other passions and priorities.
To our amazing customers—words cannot express how much your support has meant to me. You’ve not only helped this shop grow, but you’ve also helped me grow—both as a business owner and as a person. I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people, watching you develop your own green thumbs, and sharing in your plant journeys. That has been the most rewarding part of it all.
In the coming weeks, we will be restocking the shop one last time—so if you’ve had your eye on something, this is the moment! If you have a gift card, we encourage you to come in and use it before we close.
We are looking forward to these final months of connection, reflection, and, of course, sharing one last season of plant joy with all of you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this chapter. We can’t wait to see you before we say goodbye.
