We are so excited for the local Farmstand and Bakery Trail THIS SATURDAY 9am-12pm.
OPEN RAIN OR SHINE!

THINGS TO KNOW:
1. You do not have to go in order. Each stand has flyers for you to pick up and start the journey.
2. Some stands only take CASH, so have some on hand. Most take venmo and card.
3. Each stand will give out a free item to the first 30 people to their stand.
4. If you purchase something at the stand (even if something small) you will get a flower stamp. If you get all 5 flower stamps, you will be entered to win the LARGE gift basket of items from each stand.
5. If you want COFFEE, Stand 1: Three Step Acres will have some, AND Cowgirl Coffee Curbside, LLC will be with STAND 3: Risen Indeed Baking Co.
6. This is a great way to have fun, support local stands, and to learn what each stand has to offer.

Mini Bagels will be available at the stand this weekend. This is a comparison of our normal 4 oz bagels to our 2 oz mini bagels. A great way to test out our bagels and also a wonderful option for kids. The mini bagels can't be pre-ordered but we will have them at the stand.

5 days until the Farmstand Trail and we are so excited. We HAD to include coffee and Cowgirl Coffee Curbside, LLC will be joining stand #3: Risen Indeed Baking Company outside of Polished Salon 417 N Main Street Bluffton.

Remember, you can go out of order for the stands, just pick up a flyer to participate at the first stand you visit.

Any new project takes time to learn. Mistakes and set backs can be discouraging. The first time I ever made soft pretzels, they did not come out looking like anything like pretzels. I am so grateful the Lord created our brains to learn, adapt, and grow. Our minds find ways to make things easier and quicker the more we do them. I have been able to use this as an example to my children, that the first time you do something doesn't always lead to successful outcomes. To keep trying, work hard, and don't allow mistakes to discourage you.

If you would have told me a year ago what I would be making each week, I would have laughed (and probably cried too). Overtime, I have learned ways to batch bake and to manage the load better. It does not come easily all of the time and is not without work.

God so often works through the slow, messy, and seemingly inefficient parts of life to make us more like Jesus. It’s in the everyday (the ordinary moments that don’t feel that important) that He’s actually giving us opportunities to grow spiritually, to be faithful, and to build endurance. “All hard work brings a profit” (Proverbs 14:23), and to me, the greatest profit is becoming more like Him.

Orders for Saturday, May 23 are now open! This will also be the day of the Farmstand Trail Event from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

I’ll have plenty of extra baked goods available and smaller packaged items for purchase, including individual cinnamon rolls, bagels, rolls, pretzels and more. It’s a great opportunity to try a little of everything and find your favorites! We are looking forward to it.
