My son & a couple of his friends had such a great time learning to make pizza & cookies at Monopole Tasting Room & Kitchen
When I say they learned how to make pizza & cookies…I mean they really learned a lot.

Sara & Candace taught the boys how to measure the ingredients, make the dough, the sauce, and the cookies.

I would absolutely sign up again. If you are looking for a place where your kids can have fun in the kitchen, learn how to use kitchen tools, follow recipes & eat what they’ve made this is the place for you.

Btw, the pizza & cookies were legit delicious & I’m super picky. The chocolate chip cookies were even made with Ghirardelli chips!

Vivencia means…experience, at least that’s what our server Ray explained to us.
We definitely had a great experience there.
The food was delicious. Ray, was an excellent server. He was very charismatic & attentive to the needs of our table. I would definitely go there again.
The experience was just as good as the food!
I Highly recommend Vivencia & Ray as your server!

Can we talk Michael's Uptown Cafe for a minute…
I have been there several times. I mean several times, but, somehow, this was the first time I’ve ever had the crème brûlée.

This is not just any crème brûlée. Hands down one of, if not, the best dessert I have ever had in my life!

The only way I can describe it is by quoting Uncle Elroy from Friday After Next…
“- Uncle Elroy: tastes so good, make you wanna slap yo' mama! Don't it, Willie?”
“-Willie: Yeah, boy! Hey, mama?
And we know what happens next…just sayin’🤣

It’s a day late but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

With the new year comes a new adventure.

It has been my privilege to be a home based baker to our lovely community for one month shy of 5 yrs.

Büké Bakery has officially taken its last order.

I will continue to bake & cook. It is my passion and my way of spreading joy.

My culinary journey will continue as I will be taking some pastry classes and hopefully a fine dining class. I’m excited for what the future holds.

It was my goal to share the goodness from kitchen with you in your home, for your celebrations. Because of all of you, I have been able to do that for longer than I could have ever dreamed. I made things I didn’t even know I could.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to volunteer at my son’s school where I can be there for him and for the outstanding faculty & staff that provide him with the best education we could hope for him.

I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me in my baking journey. I will continue to post as I bake for my family, friends, teachers & staff. I will also share new things I’m learning in the culinary world.

**Also pictured, I experimented and made individual jalapeño cheese sandwich loaves of bread for our New Years dinner. They were a hit!

My CFA Mac & Cheese loving teenager made his very first homemade copycat CFA Mac & Cheese.
It has officially made it to the must haves at the Thanksgiving table along with these other favs.
