Leeza's Cupcakes and Catering YUMMY Cupcakes! Hi everyone!! Thank you for visiting the Leeza page. A little bit about me, and the business, My name is Alex Gazzano. So, with that came Leeza's.

I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Chicago. I have worked in a couple of different restaurants in a couple of different positions, from line cook to event coordinating. While working in restaurants was fun, I felt like I couldn't express my own culinary creativity. Why the name Leeza's? A few years back, I lost both of my Grandparents on my Mom's side. They were straight off the boat Italian and co

uldn't speak much English. Since my full name is Alexandria, in Italian that is roughly translated to Alessandra, with their heavy Italian accents they couldn't properly pronounce either. So since I was a baby they have called me Leeza. Their passing left a huge hole in my life and being that they were a big part of why I love the culinary world, this is my way of being close to them and honoring them.
