Good Morning friends. Happy Monday.

This day in history - October 12, 1492, Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas. Under the 1968 Uniform Federal Holiday Act (effective 1971), Columbus Day was moved to the second Monday of October. Many Cities and States observe this day as Indigenous Peoples' Day (such as Native American Day in South Dakota or American Indian Heritage Day in Alabama).
