Last weekend, I was asked to be a preferred vendor at . I got to be a part of their private tasting that is reserved for brides and grooms that will be getting married at the zoo sometime in the near future. I feel so completely honored that somewhere like the Toledo Zoo asked little old Emmy’s Kitchen to be such a large part of their events! We set up a dessert bar for display and also had samples for 200+ guests.
I know I always say it, but I’d be nowhere without my team and wedding dessert bars are such a great example of that. Bridgette gets down on the cupcakes and macarons, I do my best on cakes, little desserts and communications, Vince bakes the cookies and brownies and donuts… and any combination of the above helps on the delivery and setup and then it all comes together in this super cute little way!
So excited for this next and very excited chapter of really leaning into weddings!

Did you know Friday, March 4th was Staff Appreciation Day?? While I appreciate my gals every day, a National calendar day allows me to shout it from the roof tops. Bridgette, Meghan, and Leah, I am obsessed with all of you and we could not function without you badass females. I mean that whole-heartedly. I’m so proud of you every day with everything you accomplish and how you always just go with Vince’s and my crazy “go hard or go home” lifestyle. We are so lucky that our paths crossed with yours.
Korah and Julia, I know that you’re new to the team, but we so love having you on board!

Did you know I’ve got approximately 89 nieces and nephews and they’re my favorite people in the entire world? Really, I’ve got 10 nieces and nephews but I’ve been known to exaggerate from time to time. :)

Obviously, a huge shoutout to our amazing staff that helped make these past 48 hours a success. Everyone showed up, owned their role, and it was by far and away the most successful Fat Tuesday we’ve ever had. I mean that in, all orders were boxed up on time, no missing Paczki, no long line of people waiting… we cracked the code this year! Proud of all of you.
Vince, thank you for working the insane hours you do. You pour your heart and soul into our dream and I appreciate you every day. You are the fuel for this fire.
And a special shoutout to Andrea Eitzen and Kortney Griffith, two beautiful neighbors of ours. Andrea supplied us with coffee this morning like the angel that she is, and Kortney kept Vince and I fed by providing dinner for us so we could keep chugging along.

Today is the day! FAT TUESDAY! If you’re a ✨good Christian,✨ this is the last day to eat an indulgent treat before fasting and penance for 40 days. For the rest of us heathens, it’s just a great day to enjoy 2000 calories in one sitting. Either way, these babies are made with love, completely scratch made, and made for YOU!
We’ve been making jams and fillings, rolling dough, frying dough, filling dough, and boxing dough for about 36 hours straight with about 3 hours of sleep in between to keep up with demand, and damn, do we love it! Come see us on this final day of Paczki, and send it out in style with us! The cases are stocked, and the doors are open. The early bird gets the worm. Once we’re out, we’re out. Here we goooo!

Hi guys. Tonight, the 2022 wedding season officially began! We were grateful to be asked to be a part of this big day, and it was a first for us for sure. A 3 tier wedding cheesecake (yes all three tiers are cheesecake!), and 400 MINI CHEESECAKES!!!! It was such a wonderful time and amazing start to our biggest wedding season ever! 47 wedding and counting lined up for 2022. Bring it on ✨
