It all started back a few years ago when my pug named Fred got an eye injury and became infected, there were no choices left but to remove the eye, otherwise it would of ended his life as the infection progressed. Surgeries are very expensive when you don't have medical insurance for your pet.During this time the economy was taking a major fall and I had joined the ranks of the unemployed along wi

th thousands of other individuals. I started making baked goods and sold them at a local Flea Market ( Jake's Flea Market) and a lady said I should start making dog treats. I took her advise and Tanya's Tasty Treats was born. I Fred had his surgery and the infection had cleared. I still have a balance to pay and I will continue to bake. The proceeds will go towards Fred's care and I plan in the future hope to start a fund for animals in need.
