💛 Our Market Family Needs Us Again, Rolla — And This Time It’s For a Little Warrior. 💛
Many of you know Jessica, one of our beloved vendors at the Rolla Saturday Farmers Market. Right now, her family is facing something no parent should ever have to go through. 💔
Jessica’s oldest daughter, Jackie, just 12 years old, is currently at Children’s Hospital in St. Loui. This brave girl will face 36 weeks of chemotherapy, with hospital stays after each treatment. The road ahead is long, but Jackie is a fighter. 💪✨ after 12 weeks of chemo, she will be undergoing surgery for bone cancer. She will have part of her thigh bone removed and replaced with an experimental metal bone — something that takes incredible strength and courage for anyone, let alone a child. 🙏
We are asking for prayers, positive vibes, and support for Jackie and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Every prayer, share, and act of kindness means more than words can express.
🚗 The financial burden of travel alone is enormous. Gas, food, and expenses from making that trip to St. Louis over and over again adds up fast — and that’s where we come in.
Our very own Veggie Jim has already stepped up and pledged $100 — and he is challenging every vendor and market patron to do the same! 🙌 No amount is too small. Every single dollar goes directly toward helping Jessica’s family with gas cards, food, and travel related expenses so she can focus on what matters most — being by Jackie’s side. 💚
