Meet the face behind Magnolia Sweets 🧁

I wanted to take a moment to welcome all of my new followers and introduce myself!

Hi! I'm Emaly, the owner of Magnolia Sweets located right here in Blakely, Georgia. I relocated from my hometown (Mexico Beach, Florida) to Blakely, Georgia back in 2019 alittle after Hurricane Michael hit. In 2020, I got married at Kolomoki Mounds State Park to my wonderful husband. We currently own and operate a small farm and a Land Management business (Preston Land Services). We also have two children that keep us pretty busy! 😆

I started my baking journey a little over 5 1/2 years ago knowing just a small handful of people here in Early County, not knowing what the outcome would withhold. I was unsure if the community was in need of a small bakery, and boy, were they in for a sweet treat! 🤣

This has been a long journey of trial and errors, getting to meet some of the best people / friends and watch a large community support and stand behind an "outsider" who now calls Blakely home. I sure am thankful for each and every person that has followed my journey and has supported me every step. Here's to the next 5 1/2 years! 🩷

I put this sticker on my mixer a few years ago to remind myself where I started. A beach girl that moved to Blakely not knowing a soul from here.
It doesn't happen overnight, but the end result will be well worth it! ✨
