I don’t even know where to start except with a HUGE thank you.

All those sleepless nights. All those bushels of apples. All the peeling, mixing, rolling, baking, boxing, loading, unloading…and wondering more than once during the week why on earth I do this to myself. 😂

And then you showed up.

784 apple dumplings. SOLD OUT.
77 large pies. SOLD OUT.
104 apple trays. SOLD OUT.

And suddenly every exhausting minute of prep was worth it.

We could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend. The weather was absolutely PERFECT, the festival was incredible, and you guys kept us moving from the time we opened.

I’m tired. My feet hurt. I don’t want to look at another apple for at least a few days. 😂🍎

But I am SO proud.

Thank you to everyone behind Delmont Apple 'N Arts for another amazing festival. Thank you to whoever was responsible for ordering that absolutely gorgeous weather. 😂 And most of all, thank you to every single person who stood in our line, bought something from our tables, told a friend about us, came back for your favorites, or simply stopped to tell us you love what we do.

You made every single one of those 784 dumplings worth making.

This picture means more to me than I can put into words.

T&D Bakery has always been a family story. It came from the generations before me, and today I got to stand underneath that sign with the generation coming after me. ❤️

These three have watched their mom bake until ridiculous hours, fill every inch of the house with boxes, stress, cry, pray, start over, and somehow keep going. And today, they’re here beside me—working, selling, carrying boxes, making change, and helping me do the biggest weekend of our year.

I looked at this picture and thought, I did this. We did this.

My hands made thousands of baked goods this week, but God gave me the hands, the strength, and the gift to do it. And He gave me these three kids to stand beside me while I build something I hope they’ll always be proud of.

Someday I may forget how tired I was this morning. I may even forget what we sold today.

But I will never forget this picture.

Apple Festival Weekend is almost here — and this year, T&D Bakery is taking on TWO of them!

🍎 Delmont Apple ’N Arts Festival
Saturday, October 3rd • 10–6
Sunday, October 4th • 10–5
📍 Shields Farm

These are the weekends we spend the whole season looking forward to. The big crowds, the fall weather, the smell of apples and cinnamon, tables absolutely packed with baked goods, and seeing so many familiar faces. ❤️

And we are coming READY.

Now comes the part you don’t see — an entire week of baking. 😂 So we’re asking our T&D family to send a few prayers our way this week: prayers for a little sleep, smooth baking, ovens that behave, enough hours in the day, safe travels, and GOOD WEATHER for everyone working so hard to make these festivals happen. 🙏🏼🍂

⚠️One important reminder: we will NOT be at the Monroeville Farmers Market this Saturday. You’ll find us in Smicksburg and Delmont!
