Sprinkles Story
Nicole’s career started by working at a local grocery store as a cake decorator in 2001. Her passion grew as she learned more. In 2004 Nicole attended Le Cordon Bleu and completed her Pastry Chef degree and later obtained her Bachelors in Business and Restaurant Management. She obtains her Food Safe Certification as well as her Certification for Wilton as a Cake Decorating Instructor.
In Spring of 2005 Sprinkles and Twinkles was created and was mostly Wedding cakes. As the business grew, a second kitchen was in desperate need. It was difficult to do more than an order or two a weekend. In 2015 the second kitchen was finally finished!! And in 2016 it got licensed with the state!
2017 was the first big year! It went from maybe 10 orders a year to almost 200 orders! Now with the help of her Husband, Matthew, they work together on orders each weekend. Matthew does deliveries on Saturday mornings and he also helps out with some of the fondant work!
Nicole and Matthew also have a young family as well and work day jobs so orders are capped at 3 per weekend at the moment. But as the kids get older, the orders will be increased. The support from others out there has been amazing and so appreciated! Thank you!
