Not the prettiest cake but I really wanted to eat some tres leches so I threw together a rushed cake! 😋

After some research and consulting with my baking friends I wanted to try layering a tres leches.

👩‍🏫👩‍🏫👩‍🏫

They are extremely unstable and tend to leak or fall apart under the weight of the cake on top. Especially without buttercream to chill and anchor the cakes together, this can be quite a challenge! 🎂🍰

It turned out better than expected but I still wouldn't sell this in layered form. My tres leches will remain in sheet cake form or layered in a trifle dish. 🥰
