Fields of lavender, charcuterie boards, sunshine, and the people who make life beautiful. 💜

One of the greatest joys of teaching is creating experiences that extend beyond the classroom. This weekend, I had the opportunity to spend time with a few of my culinary students, sharing creativity, hospitality, and a little bit of magic in the lavender fields.

Afterward, I got to enjoy the day as a guest alongside some of my dearest friends—the people who have walked through every season of life with me. There is something special about slowing down, soaking up the sunshine, and making memories with people who feel like home.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that success isn’t measured by accomplishments alone. It’s measured by meaningful work, genuine friendships, and moments that remind you just how blessed you are.

Grateful for the students who inspire me, the friendships that sustain me, and the opportunities to do what I love. ✨

Tomorrow is the BIG day!! 👨‍🍳🔥

After a full year of hard work, Hale’s Kitchen is officially opening to the PUBLIC for our Grand Soft Opening!! ❤️🍽️

This is Tulsa Public Schools’ first full-scale Culinary Career Academy restaurant inside a public high school — built to give students real restaurant and hospitality experience while serving our community.

Some days remind me exactly why I do this. 💛👩‍🍳

Spent the day volunteering with some of my incredible Hale’s Kitchen culinary students at the , and I couldn’t be more proud. Watching students grow into leaders through service, teamwork, hospitality, and community engagement is what CareerTech education is all about.

We’re not just teaching students how to cook — we’re helping build confidence, work ethic, compassion, and a future workforce for Oklahoma. 🍽️✨

Thank you to everyone who supports Hale’s Kitchen and our mission to create opportunities for students through culinary arts and hospitality education.

Tulsa’s future is bright. ❤️

What starting over actually looks like… one front porch at a time 🏡✨

This space used to feel tired, overlooked, and honestly… a little like how life felt in that season. But little by little—one decision, one project, one coat of paint at a time—it started to shift.

Now this front porch feels like a welcome. A fresh start. A reflection of where I’m headed, not where I’ve been 🤍

It’s more than a new front door… it’s choosing to rebuild, to create something beautiful out of what once felt broken.

Roast beef in the oven, the house smelling amazing, and everyone slowing down long enough to sit around the table together.

In a busy week, these intentional family meals matter the most. Simple food, family time, and the kind of moments that remind me what really fills my cup. 🥩✨
