Happy Sunday, everyone! ❤️
We have been busy. Bakery busy, full-time-non-bakery-job busy, family busy… all of it. 😂
But today we plan and bake because Surrey House will be back at Painted Prairie Tuesday for the weekly farmers market!
These little guys are officially joining the menu after their debut last week ❤️ Mini cakes! We’ll have a few flavors along with our sourdough cookies, jalapeño cheddar sourdough, and whatever else I convince myself I have time to make between now and Tuesday. 😂
Cake pops are coming too—either this week or next—but first I need your opinion on something very important:
Is August too early to start fall flavors?! 🎃🍂
Because I’m ready.
We have pumpkin bread—the banana-bread kind. Soft, sweet, warmly spiced, and basically all the comfort of banana bread with fall in the air.
But we ALSO have pumpkin bread—the actual bread kind. 😂 Savory, ye**ty, made for a bowl of soup, and bomb if I do say so myself.
So what do we think? Do I behave myself and wait, or are we ready for pumpkin? 🎃
