Happy National Pie Day! 🥧🎉

Let me take you back to the one time I attempted to bake a pie… and it ended in disaster. 🔥

I had the perfect recipe, the ingredients prepped, and an ego the size of a nine-inch crust. Everything was going great—until I got a little too confident.

First, I accidentally used powdered sugar instead of flour, and on top of that, I misread the amount and used WAY too much. Oops! 😂🤣

I pulled out this... abomination, which spilled over onto the pan and created what could only be described as a charcoal briquette. I had to throw out the pan and the filling of the pie had evaporated into a sticky mystery substance, and the whole thing was just ruined.

Moral of the story: Accidents happen to even the best of us (and also don't forget to read the directions and what you are actually putting into your creation) 🙄

Anyone else have a pie fail? 😂

Want perfectly soft cookies? Instead of placing your dough straight on a hot baking sheet, let it cool between batches! A hot pan can cause the butter to start melting too soon, leading to flat, spread-out cookies. For thick, chewy perfection, always use a cool sheet or line it with fresh parchment paper.
