Good Jean's Baking Company Fresh, homemade baked goods and confections created with you in mind! After a few long nights, and some trial and error, I did it!

People often ask me how I got started baking, and it probably surprises them to learn that I didn’t grow up playing around in the kitchen. It wasn’t until my niece requested a specific Barbie cake for her birthday that I ever thought about baking. I take my role as an Aunt very seriously and, if she wanted something, I was going to do everything I could to make it happen. The joy in her eyes when

she saw her cake was everything to me, and I knew that I found a way to celebrate people that was meaningful to them. Throughout the years, I have tried to reproduce that same feeling with everything I make. I am proud of the time, thought and attention to detail that I put into every creation. It is my personal goal to make someone’s day. I have learned this from watching my mother. If you know my mother, you know that there isn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for anybody. Her care, thoughtfulness and generosity is unmatchable, but it is exactly my goal. Nothing makes me happier than to hear someone say “You are just like your mother”. It has always been a dream of mine to have the opportunity to carry on the name Jean, just as my mother, Mary Jean, did when naming me. Although this is not the way I had envisioned it, I can’t think of a more meaningful way to pay tribute to my mother than to name this “baby” after her, as I have definitely inherited my Good Jean’s from her.
