Picked away at a solid grade of trout early this morning and then caught really nice red snapper in record time. The bite is on and if you want in give me a call.

Didn’t fish for snapper today and strictly focused on trout after doing well with them in the limited amount of time that we had fished for them in the last week. After fishing hard for them all morning all we could come up with was 5. Very very tough bite. Other than one person I talked to today it seems that this was a trend today in our area.
On the way back we briefly fished for redfish and snagged one. And when I mean snagged one, we chased a cork that kept diving away from us and snagged this redfish. I later found out who broke it off and this fish was swimming with this cork trailing behind it since May 18.

Almost cancelled this morning because of weather and I’m so glad we didn’t. With this weather system sitting over us the past week the best plan is just to wake up and see! Saw the sun shining today for the first time in nearly a week. It was still brutally windy but it was worth it.
