This was an interesting request on short notice..

I was asked on Friday to make "banana bread muffin cupcakes with strawberries in them and topped with whipped cream or something like that" for a birthday on Sunday.

It sounded like an odd pairing, but I'm pretty good at figuring things like this out so I said I would make it happen.

The end result turned out even better than I anticipated. I had to taste test one, and OMG...it was amazing! I'm calling them Strawberry Banana Bread Cupcakes.

The birthday girl tried one and said it was exactly what she wanted! Can't argue with that one bit. ❤️❤️

Bring me your odd ball requests, folks. I will never say it can't be done unless I've tried and failed multiple times.

Repeat customers are the best evidence that you're doing something right!

I did a fancy two tier cake and baby bundt cakes for this customer last fall.

This time it was a Red Velvet quarter sheet cake and 2 dozen Chocolate Cupcakes all frosted in a Rose Gold Buttercream/Cream Cheese icing hybrid I created on the fly. The shimmer on the icing didn't come through that well in the pictures, but it was very pretty in person!

I'm usually so focused on the task at hand that I don't think to take pictures of my work while it's in progress. I couldn't help but notice how pretty this filling was so I stopped to snap a quick shot of it!

It was my pleasure to craft this Vanilla cake with Strawberry filling and Strawberry whipped icing for a special lady's Birthday/Earth Day celebration today.

This time it's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough as a late birthday present for my daughter.

No one on this earth loves cookie dough more than my first born, and she loved this cheesecake, too!

Oh, no. If you're my son, you ask for a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake and get next level decadence like this!

Peanut butter flavored cheesecake with chopped mini peanut butter cups in the batter on an Oreo crust and topped with chocolate ganache, mini peanut butter cups and homemade whipped cream.

I don't indulge in my own creations very often anymore. I've gotten to a point where I trust myself enough that I don't feel the need to taste test before I deliver an order.

After preparing yet another round of Chocolate Chip Cookies and Chocolate Baby Bundt Cakes last night for Switch Society I decided I had earned the right to enjoy one of my own cookies!

It was pure joy in every bite! ❤️❤️ You can't go wrong with a classic.
