WEDNESDAY IS NOW BREAD DAY! Over the past 8 or so months we’ve been quietly beta testing our bread program. We’ve been pushing bread on everyone we know and then bothering them for feedback. We’re proud of this product and it’s ready for take off! 100% Maine grown grains, all sourdough- is that even worth mentioning anymore? Hopefully you just expect it at this point. Ordering details below!

OK Here’s the plan: preorder on toast any day for pick up on WEDNESDAYS ONLY! Just go to the online menu, order your bread, and show us your email receipt on Wednesday to get your bread. Easy right?! DM or email us with any questions. Order tomorrow and pick up on Wednesday!

In an effort to speed up service and give the largest number of guests what they want, we’re see ya later to a couple of sandwiches. It’s not goodbye forever, just goodbye for now. Truth be told the vast majority of you are eating bacon, egg & cheese or bagels with spread. Change can be exhilarating, right?!

Holy cow, Rover turned 10 last month! September 15, 2016 was first Rover Bagel pop up. I’ve put off posting about it because I don’t really know what to say… We started the pop up as a fun idea without any plans or goals, and what came next felt like a tsunami in the best possible way. Thank you to everyone who took a chance on us (especially Tim & Larry who opened your doors after hours to a couple of strangers), to our staff past and present who carried us through these wild Maine summers, and to our guests who continue to choose us and allow us to keep going. Whats next for Rover? We’ve spent the last year really watching sales and using that data to inform a streamlined menu and service model. I know we’re often tweaking and changing things which can be annoying, but our goal is always to provide the best product and experience possible, and that requires lots of trial and error. Thanks for sticking with us for the past decade and cheers to another one! I want to say lots more about what we’ve learned but that feels like a separate post. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we’ll see you at the window! ❤️
