Sorry I didn’t get to post last evening like I promised but I had to make sure we got the briskets.
So we will have the brisket event meal on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00, October 23. I’m going to leave it up to Mark if he wants to throw a few ribs in the smoker as well. I can let you know Thursday evening when I post a reminder.
So the sides for the meal will be 2 choices of these sides, au gratin potatoes, baked beans , spaghetti and cheese macaroni or potato salad.
Each meal will get a corn muffin and a side of hot corn.
We will have a couple desserts for extra $$’s to choose from to finish off the meal as dessert is my favorite. I’m thinking Key Lime pie or a brownie with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
So with this information we will only be open Wednesday for lunch, I’ll post that Tuesday evening, and we will close Thursday to prepare some of the food for the Friday evening brisket event.
We would appreciate reserving your meals with your side choices if you plan to attend to make it easier to have enough food made but also walk ins are welcome. We will do our best to make sure you have the choices you pick.
We’re excited to offer these special events here and plan on doing several more. Always check our page for upcoming special events to see what we have going on in the bakery.

Hello everyone, wow this weather sure likes to change fast, I’m sure looking forward to tomorrows nice fall day.
I’m just jumping on here early to run this past you so you can plan for this if it’s something you’re interested in.
I told you awhile back we have some ideas we have been wanting to do but it seems other things come up and we end up not getting them in.
So the first one up is we want to offer a brisket meal next week either Friday or Saturday evening. Hours would he 4:00 to 7:00 or sold out. We would offer brisket with all the sides for a nice meal like we do when we do our rib fest, we also may do a few ribs as well depending on the interest.
We would appreciate any feedback and ideally sign ups so we know how much brisket to order. You can either dine in or take out.
I will post the full meal choices by Sunday evening when figure out the full menu and we still plan on opening up in the front for lunches next week unless we have the brisket meal on Friday then we will need to close Thursday to prep for that.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, we plan on doing more special events like this for weekend evenings like we did for our Date Night, Valentine’s special etc if there is enough interest.

This was the catered meal that went out this morning, the Cuban panini, dill pickle pasta salad and for dessert chocolate chip cookie bars.

Good evening, well this was quite a day, sorry it got a bit late for posting but here’s the scoop for the week. We will be catering a meal on Thursday and they are having Cuban paninis for one of their choices so I had to make a pork roast for that sandwich so we will offer a pulled pork sandwich in a homemade bun with slaw and chips, a Monti Cristo or Cuban panini with chips, for soup we will have potato soup with garlic toast.
We have chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin spice doughnuts and banana bread for sweets.
So we have decided to close for Thursday, October 15, to the public so we can prepare the catered lunch.
As we are getting into the holiday season we will be getting I’m busier with holiday parties, catering and orders for the season so our schedule may have to change over this time. I will post more later on the changes we will be making.

Well we got the boards delivered to the staff and mom got to enjoy it with the day shift, I won’t have pics of the night shift but these are her wonderful care givers for today.
Went to my dentist appointment at Face and Jaw and had that tooth removed, it was cracked in two places and he said I made the right decision to get rid of it. He did such a great job removing it I didn’t have any problems whatsoever, highly recommend them.
So missions accomplished for today. Glad it’s behind me now.

Good evening, my mama wanted to do something nice for her caregivers at the home so she asked me to make them some charcuterie boards for each shift because they take such good care of her. I will drop them off tomorrow and visit with her before I head to Face and Jaw to have that tooth taken care of. Wish me luck, I’ll be glad when that’s over with. See you next week.
We also added some of the DetonEggers in the side for them.

Hey, can you believe this wonderful fall weather we’re having, I ❤️ it.
Here is your post for this week at the bakery. Unfortunately we will only be open Wednesday only (tomorrow) reg hours as I have to get a tooth pulled in Bismarck on Thursday, I’ve been having trouble with it the last two months and can’t put it off any longer and when there’s an opening you take it. So anyway here is the menu fur tomorrow’s lunch, we will have a sloppy Joe meal with a side of coleslaw and chips, our gourmet taco in a bag, soup will he either corn chowder or chicken gnocchi with garlic toast or crackers.
We will have a few sweets to choose from, banana bread, scotcharoos, cupcakes, shortbread cookies or crumb cake. We also have 8 extra fresh kuchen, 2 blueberry, 1 apricot, 1 rhubarb and 4 peach, these go fast so give us a call if you want one.

What a beautiful fall so far, hope you’re all enjoying it.
Just finishing up here tonight so I’ll quick jump on here and fill you in on tomorrow’s lunches. We’ll have a Ham and Brie panini, chips, a Breakfast croissant with ham, cheese and eggs, we have a few servings of soup left and we can do a couple of Reuben panini’s if you missed it today.
