Aug. Update: We've Got Bittersweet News: Like our cakes, life comes in layers. For the past six years, the DMV community has supported Wilma Bakes Cakes beyond our wildest dreams. We’ve loved every minute of dishing out our cookies, cupcakes, cakes and more to all of you—and now, Wilma and I are indulging in our own slice of happiness: We’ve met someone amazing and are moving to Long Island to blend our families.
While we’re incredibly sad to be leaving the DC-area, Wilma Bakes Cakes will rise again, as soon as we are able to get set up in our new home! We hope you’ll stay in touch and help us continue sprinkling joy wherever we go. Though we may be miles apart, we’ll always be just a care package away!
As we make this transition, we're putting a pause on all new orders: Orders must be placed by August 15 (subject to availability) for pick up/shipping no later than August 19. Once we've had a chance whip our new kitchen into shape (sometime this fall), we'll share updates!
