Hey friends, what a great day, I think I’m loving this retirement gig.
Since Preston is back to his old self 🙏🏻 I gave a young mom some of him so she could start baking sourdough, 🥰 she posted on Bethalto Neighbors yesterday, wanting to buy some, I’ve given starter to a few people. Plus since I got that scare from him I decided to dehydrate some of him so I’ll have that to start over.
Got the house cleaned and chores done I decided to make discard chocolate chip and butterscotch cookies and I’ll have a croissant loaf available tomorrow, I’m baking it in the morning $9 if interested. Have a great evening, love ya all.❤️😘

He’s back, thank you.🙏🏻

You guys I may have killed Preston😭😭. I haven’t been doing much baking lately so I only feed him once a day instead of 3, fed him before church, came to get a loaf ready and he wasn’t active just a blob of flour and water!! Got the main old guy Mr, Bigdough out of the fridge and working on 3 new starters, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 one is successful.😩

It’s been slow thats for sure, but I just got my first order for next week!🧁🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰

😂😂 Jamie Perkhiser I tried!! Might have been better with a plain loaf instead of cinnamon sugar and apple caramels.🎃
