New Honey offerings! We have 11 oz jars of whipped honey -$8; Golden honey -$10(honey with Turmeric, ginger, black pepper) and Vanilla honey -$10 w/scraped Madagascar vanilla beans added. (Really yummy in tea!)

Last evening's Pickin on The Porch "Worship Night" was such a blessing. Its what Kelly and I have prayed about all these years. We are mere stewards of this plot of land. Barton's Landing will always be important to our family, but we are doing our best to make it important to The Kingdom. Thank you to everyone that came out to worship and praise our shared Father.

Good morning and greetings from Barton's Landing ! Save the date! Friday, June 5th. @6:00pm. we are hosting an old school contemporary christian music, sing along night! Stripped down acoustic guitar and vovals. Singing will be lead by Heather Eide and Scott Barton. We will be singing songs by Rich Mullins, Chris Tomlin, Thrid Day, Casting Crowns and many others.
This will be a hootenanny family style evening. Bring along a lawn chair some snacks and drinks for yourself, if you would like. It is FREE . We just want to share an evening with people who love Jesus. If you dont love Jesus, come anyways. You might find what you didn't think you needed. June 5th, 6:00pm till 8:00pm. We look forward to singing His praises with you.

"Thankful" Sorting through stuff today and drinking in the scale of our current situation. A plumbing issue in the upstairs apartment bathroom has erased so much of our labor in our home. It started out as just a building, a house and day by day, choice by choice Kelly transformed a building into our forever home. As we are assessing what is important we celebrate our relationship with Jesus from where we are gathering our peace.
When I picked up this simple store bought "Thankful" sign it flooded in that this is the time to be thankful, not just when we feel "favored". (by the way the song playing wasnt one that I chose it happened to be on when I started recording, Not a coincidence) We have been lavished in His love through relationships. With our kids, our church family bringing food (our kitchen is behind curtain #2) and offering heartfelt prayers. Thank you Jesus for our current hearts and not my heart from the past. We will be fine. We are well insured and in great hands from our restoration company to our insurance company. It will be a long couple months but, today the word is "THANKFUL". Whatever you may be going through today, do your best to be thankful and find Joy. This is the day the Lord has made. Love from Barton's Landing God bless

Greetings from Barton's Landing in the sunny south! Current temp 25°F. The north has nothing on us today. As you can see Fancy and Cookie are a bit spirited today. We hope you and the people you love are all well and warm.
