Hello all! Well, it is time for me to make some changes. There are many factors that are playing a part in this decision, but mostly the cost and availability of ingredients. For example, in the last 2 years sugar has risen 78%, butter 70%, baking powder 63% and eggs....good grief, have gone up 140%!!!!! Plus the overhead costs are not justifiable anymore. Then the fact that Wauneta Flour is no longer βΉοΈ. In the very beginning I tested out a variety of flours and Wauneta's was the best by far and helped to make my product the quality it is.
As of today I will no longer be taking orders for anything other than large events, such as graduations, weddings, etc. And even at this level it may not make sense for the customer, which I apologize for but completely understand.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me in my venture. It has been my tribute to my brother, healing for me, stressful, fun, scary and amazing. Thank you for being my guinea pigs with my flavors and products, and thank you for giving me the honor to be a part of your special events. Your support is greatly cherished.
