You may not know this, but I started nursing school a little over a year ago and it has kept me busy! I stopped baking completely last year but opened up again over the summer and have been taking VERY limited orders over the last couple months.

Fall is my favorite season by FAR and it is so inspiring for me. I loved this set so much because it centered around two of my favorite things- pumpkins and babies 🥰

Thank you all for sticking around through the ebb and flow of this process over the last few years! It’s such a gift to have the freedom to lean in when I have capacity and take breaks when I need to. You all inspire me so much with your theme ideas and it’s an honor to bake for your special events!

Part two of my “nightmare client” story- IYKYK. Read back for first half.

So three days after the party, she stopped by and saw I was working on this beautiful Under The Sea set for a LOVELY client who did NOT change her theme with no notice and paid in advance. Shout out!

Anyways. If you’ll remember this is the same theme that my nightmare client pivoted from last minute and caused me a massive headache. She threw a HUGE fit and said if she had known how cute these cookies would be she NEVER would have changed her entire party theme to Orange.

I said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t like the theme change either!” She just broke down into tears. Right in the middle of my shop. She asked for another party. I said, “you’ll have to wait until next year” and put her down for a nap. 😆
