A little misty morning magic from our corner of Vermont to yours.

It’s a bit of a dreary, overcast Monday here at Golden Maple Farm, but there is still so much beauty to be found if you look down. Nature did some gorgeous decorating on the lawn this week with this vibrant blanket of forget-me-nots popping against the gray skies.

Days like today remind us that the farm has its own special kind of peace, no matter the weather. It's the perfect kind of morning to watch the mist roll over the hills with a hot drink in hand.

Spring is finally waking up in the orchard, and it feels like every day there’s something new to see! 🌸

​The daffodils are officially stealing the show with those bright pops of yellow, and the apple trees are starting to show their first signs of life. It’s easily one of the best times of year to be outside.

​I also caught a glimpse of a local celebrity today—Chuck, the woodchuck, is back and seems to be eyeing the real estate near the apple trees. I think he’s enjoying the view as much as I am!

🍎✨ Spring is waking up the orchard at Golden Maple Farm…

Today’s view: fresh pruning, sun filtering through the branches, and the quiet kind of work that keeps this place thriving. It may look a little scattered now, but this is where new growth begins—and where fall’s apples take root. 🌱

There’s something special about these old trees and the land they sit on… peaceful, a little rustic, and full of stories. Days like this remind us just how beautiful and simple life can be out here.

The 59th Annual Vermont Maple Festival is kicking off in St. Albans, and if you’re looking for something to do this weekend, this is it. From maple creemees and sugar-on-snow to local vendors, live events, and all things maple—there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

This festival is a celebration of what makes Vermont so special: hard work, tradition, and the incredible gift of maple that comes straight from our forests. 🌲🍁
