🩰👶🎂 Baby Ballerina Cake – Recipe

🍰 Pink Velvet Cake – soft, smooth & baby-sweet

✅ Ingredients (for 3 stacked layers – ballet skirt shape):

3 ¾ cups cake flour

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter

2 ½ cups sugar

5 large eggs

1 tbsp vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups buttermilk

Pink gel color (soft tone)

Optional: a few drops of rose water

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 340°F (170°C).

2. Whisk dry ingredients together.

3. Cream butter + sugar until fluffy.

4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla + coloring + rose water.

5. Alternate flour and buttermilk.

6. Bake in round pans or dome-shaped mold. Cool completely.

🧁 Strawberry Whipped Buttercream

1 ½ cups butter

5 cups powdered sugar

2–3 tbsp strawberry purée or jam

2–3 tbsp cream

Pink tint + shimmer dust (optional)

🩰 Decoration – Baby Ballerina Theme

✅ You’ll Need:

Fondant baby figure (sleeping or sitting), dressed in tutu

Ruffled fondant skirt around base tier (like tulle)

Ballet shoes (fondant or chocolate mold)

Edible pearls, satin bow, mini tiara

Optional: delicate sugar flowers and soft feathers

Background: curtain-style fondant or dreamy pink backdrop

Guys this place is finally open! They are open just behind Arby's on W Adams, next to Dollar Tree. They sell gourmet stuffed cookies, shakes, ice cream and more. They will soon be adding Dirty Sodas to the menu! I am excited to try this place out!
