I had the privelege of being neighbors with Cof& for 4 years on Cornwall. This family is the sweetest, most hardworking... I don't even have words.

He has been detained by ICE and is seeking help from the community to afford proper legal representation.

I don't know the specifics... but I know the man, and he has built a life here that supports our local economy, creates a space for community, and so so much.

After much reflection we have decided to transform the Cornwall space into a seated dessert and beverage shop, moving the baking offsite to a larger kitchen with more space to make all of the delicious things.

Chef Jennifer Worthley of Next Chapter Cafe is bringing three of Cynthia's recipes to life using the freshest local catches from
Bellingham Dockside Market. Each delicious dish is gluten-free and comes with its own w**e pairing.

Thank you for showing up Bellingham! Since we started fundraising on November 2nd, between your donations and 10% of latte sales we were able to donate $302 to the Bellingham Food Bank this morning from Next Chapter alone.
We were also able to donate $68.60 from Bry's combo plate sales and $18.50 from cupcake sales at the bakery 🧁 (only open one day so far this week)

We are going to keep it going all month long. There is still so much uncertainty around SNAP benefits. How much will get paid. When they will get paid. What this means for so many families at the holidays.

So grateful to be part of this community.
