For November and December, we’re excited to spotlight two heartwarming children’s books as part of Erin Baker’s Help Feed 1 Million Kids program—where every featured story helps nourish minds and bellies. 📚💛

✨ Yefferson, Actually by Katherine Trejo

🎄 Christmas Makes Me Think by Tony Medina
This thoughtful holiday story follows a young boy as he wonders what Christmas really means. Sure, presents are fun—but what about kindness, giving, and caring for others? A sweet, funny, and touching read that gets kids thinking about the true spirit of the season.

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Happy Costumer: Best breakfast/lunch/snack/go-to out there!

"I have been enjoying the double chocolate cookies since eating one before track practice each day after middle school. Now I live half way across the country from where they are made and have the joy of sharing them with my kids more than 20 years later. Thank you for continuing to make the great original cookies that I have enjoyed over so many years!"

Stories like this remind us just how special food memories can be. From after-school snacks to family traditions, we’re honored to be part of your journey. 💕🍪

We’re proud to donate this month’s Help Feed 1 Million Kids book pick, 47,000 Beads, to The Boys & Girls Clubs!

Written by Koja Adeyoha and Angel Adeyoha, and illustrated by Michaela Goade, this powerful picture book follows Peyton, a young Native child who finds strength, identity, and joy through the love and support of her community. As she prepares to dance at a powwow, her auntie, uncle, and friends help her feel seen and celebrated in her Two-Spirit identity. 🌈🪶

47,000 Beads is a beautiful reminder of what acceptance and chosen family can mean to a child finding their place in the world.

Thank you for helping us get diverse, inclusive stories into the hands of kids who need them most 💛
