Today’s verse that someone highlighted comes from Isaiah 43:2.

This is such a powerful verse! God will be there with us through our struggles and our trials, no matter what we’re going through! Just turn to Him!

In our sermon this morning our guest speaker gave us the analogy below.

When you’re hungry, you eat until you’re full right? What would happen if you were only eating for 5 minutes a day, would that sustain you?

How about we turn that around and correlate that with our soul. How do we expect to feed our souls if we’re only giving God 5 minutes of our time in His word. Do you think that fills our soul for the day? If you’re just starting out it sure does, but we need to continue to dive deeper and grow more, spending more time with God every day!

Try “snacking” on His word for 5 minutes 3-4 times a day, that’s what helps get us through to meals, right?

I challenge you to spend more time in the word this week and give God your undivided attention. ♥️
