Alfie Cascio grew up in the business, starting at Cascio’s Steakhouse in Omaha and learning from some of the people who helped build its legacy — his grandfather Joe Cascio, great uncle Al Cascio, great aunt Rosie Bruning, and his dad, Larry Cascio.
Today, Alfie carries that legacy forward as the owner of Cascio’s Steakhouse.
But for Alfie, owning a restaurant has never been just about running a business.
It’s about taking care of the people who take care of you.
That means his employees, his customers, his family, his friends, and the Omaha community that has supported Cascio’s for generations.
Whether it’s donating food, supporting a fundraiser, accommodating a last-minute family gathering, helping a college baseball team, or making sure an employee gets through a difficult time — Alfie believes in being there when people need you.
And sometimes taking care of his people means putting people ahead of profits.
That generosity of spirit is what makes Alfie such an important part of Omaha hospitality. His restaurant is more than a place to eat — it’s a gathering place, a family legacy, and a part of the Omaha community.
