We're bringing back our popular croissants, along with sourdough batards and sandwich loaves. French Onion is this week's bagel special. It’s Pop Up on the Patio Saturday!!!!

We are excited to be back at it today with freshly baked bagels, 🥯 English muffins, and brown butter chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 Please be patient as we figure this out.😬 We will be using our new point of sale system for the first time.🫣

Come see us at 167 S Potter St in Bellefonte starting at 8am, going until noon or we sell out, whichever comes first. After you see us, stop for some coffee at Bonfatto’s or My Buzz Cafe.

Hello!! Mrs.Bread Baker here! 💁🏻‍♀️

Chef Dave is busy again! (Or maybe I should say he’s still busy😂.) But he’s busy ✨baking✨getting ready for our Saturday pop up on the patio event! 🥳 We will be at our new location located at 167 S Potter St in Bellefonte. (Back behind CVS.) Our set up will be similar to our set up at the Winter Market.

We will have our fan favorite English Muffins, Bagels, and our famous sourdough brown butter chocolate chunk cookies. 😋🤤 This will be a first come first serve event. When these goodies are gone, they’re gone! 😭 We will be set up starting at 8am and will go until noon or until we sell out, whichever comes first. We will be doing a test run with the new point of sale system too. So bear with us! 🫣😬

We reached a big milestone- we passed our health inspection. YAY!!🥳 We are waiting on Centre County Code to give the approval for our electrical updates. ⚡️🔌 Without that we cannot operate in the new space (hence the patio pop up and not operating and opening the new location to the public.) So….we wait.😢 ☹️💸💸

We so value each and every one of you who continue to show your support to our little bakery. 🥰 We are here for YOU! Your support Saturday will help with some much needed revenue. The prolonged closure has provided significant financial challenges. Believe me we want to get back to baking on a regular basis as soon as we can!!! 🥨🥐🥯🍞🥖 Keep your fingers crossed that we can operate in the new space soon. 🤞🏻

This mess represents substantial completion for my part of the bakery build, the tools are going home. Painting is done, brick walls have been made food safe, display shelving is ready for display, a million little repairs have been made. Tomorrow is my department of agriculture inspection to get my health permit then I just need to get power run to the new ovens and mixer. Fingers crossed that the process from here on is smooth and we can open soon.

Pop up on the patio this Saturday. The building isn’t ready but the patio is and we will have a limited selection of items for sale. English muffins, bagels and cookies. We will be open from 8-12 at 167 South Potter Street.

Still working hard to get open but timeline is difficult to determine. We continue to move in, get organized and put the final touches on the new location. This is taking far longer than I expected but we are still focused on getting up and running as soon as possible.
